Massey Board & Committee Vacancies

Massey University’s Boards and Committees include seats for students, so that they may represent student voice in decision making.

All of Te Tira Ahu Pae’s Student Representatives sit on different Boards and Committees, however there are some vacant positions left on a handful of these groups.

We are looking for Massey University students who are interested in sitting on these Boards and Committees, to help fill these vacancies.

Students who sit on these Boards or Committees will be paid at living wage rate for their hours. The time commitment is usually attending monthly meetings and some reading time, however this varies from group to group. Each committee has terms of reference that determine membership. You can find these details below.

  • Seats Available: Two

    Terms of Reference: Must be studying in the College of Health

  • Seats Available: One

    Terms of Reference: Must be studying in the College of Science

  • Seats Available: Three

    Terms of Reference: Located in Auckland, meetings normally twice a semester

  • Seats Available: One

    Terms of Reference: Must be from College of Business and PhD student

  • Seats Available: Two (one full-time, one part-time).

    Terms of Reference: PhD or DClinPsych, post-confirmation, with supervisory support. Ideally will be in the role for at least 2 years.

  • Seats Available: Three

    Must be from College of Business, senior undergraduates (students beyond their first year) and postgraduate students. Can be internal or distance. The committee meets 4-6 times a year.

  • Seats Available: Two

    Must be studying at the College of Humanities and Social Sciences

  • Seats available: One
