Better clarifying the duties of the General Manager, and duties which they can designate to other Te Tira Ahu Pae staff.

How the Association forms subcommittees, and what kinds of information needs to be included in their agreements.

Creating clear processes for the removal of Board members and making sure those processes are fair and consistent with our disputes and complaints requirements.

Creating clear processes for the removal of a General Manager, making sure those processes are fair and consistent with the Employment Relations Act 2000.

How conflicts of interest in the Board are declared and managed, including political conflicts of interest.

How the Association can partake in political activities while remaining non-partisan, such as encouraging people to vote and participate in elections.

Making sure the Association upholds Te Tiriti o Waitangi throughout its processes and decision-making.

Making sure observers can attend Part One Board meetings.

Laying out what kinds of policies Te Tira Ahu Pae should retain, how they should be consulted on, and how they should be made available to students.
