I am a postgraduate Marketing student originally from Sri Lanka, a country rich in culture, diversity, and strong community values that have shaped my perspective and personal growth. Growing up in such a vibrant environment has helped me develop adaptability, cultural awareness, and an appreciation for bringing people together through experiences.

Professionally, I have experience in marketing, digital marketing, and social media management, particularly within the hospitality industry, where I worked on content strategy, audience engagement, and promotional campaigns. These roles strengthened my communication skills, creativity, and ability to understand and represent different audiences effectively.

Relocating abroad to pursue my Master’s degree has been a transformative step that expanded my independence and global outlook. Experiencing university life as an international student has allowed me to understand both the opportunities and challenges students face while adjusting to new academic and social environments.

I am passionate about supporting student voices and I hope to act as a bridge between students and the university by encouraging open communication and contributing ideas that enhance student experiences. I am motivated to create a positive, welcoming environment where every student feels heard, supported, and empowered throughout their academic journey.
