I am a 25-year-old Master of Analytics student living at Massey Halls Auckland, and I'm keen to put myself forward for the International Students' Representative and Postgraduate Representative roles. Having grown up as an Indian citizen in the UAE and Kuwait, and then studying for my Bachelor's in India, I know what it feels like to move countries, adjust to a new system, and try to find your place. Those experiences make me want to be a visible, approachable support for others so they don't feel as alone as I sometimes did.
I naturally enjoy helping people and look for ways to contribute. Here at Massey, I volunteered as a fire warden in my building, and back in India I helped at a community kitchen. In high school, I was a house representative, and I've also worked as a social media manager, which taught me how to communicate clearly and stay organised. My background as a professional badminton player for Kuwait and Kerala has taught me discipline, resilience, and how to support a team, and I would bring those same qualities to this role.
