Hi everyone, my name is Brian, and I’m currently a Media student at Massey University. Throughout my studies, I’ve become increasingly interested in how student voices can shape a better learning environment. I want to be a Student Representative because I believe communication between students and the university is essential for improving our academic experience.
As a student, I understand the challenges we face—from course workload and communication with lecturers to accessing resources and support. If elected, I hope to serve as a reliable bridge between students and faculty, ensuring that student feedback is heard and taken seriously. I would actively listen to classmates’ concerns and ideas, and work to bring those perspectives into discussions that influence decisions affecting our studies.
During my term, I hope to help improve transparency, encourage more student participation in academic discussions, and support initiatives that enhance both learning quality and student wellbeing. My goal is simple: to make sure every student feels represented and that their voice matters.
Thank you for your support.
