Warm Pacific greetings! My name is Sumayyah, a Bachelor of Business (Business Analytics) student at Massey. Having served as a Class Representative and a Resident Representative, I am passionate about student advocacy, wellbeing, and building a supportive community.

I am running for Pasifika Student Representative to ensure our Pasifika family feels heard, valued, and empowered across campus. Guided by the values of vaka (journeying together) and talanoa (open dialogue), I want to bring our community's real experiences directly to university leadership. During my term, I hope to:

 * Strengthen Advocacy: Build clear pathways for students to voice academic and wellbeing needs.
 * Boost Peer Support: Promote accessible study groups, peer mentoring, and career development.
 * Celebrate Our Culture: Work closely with Pasifika groups to foster cultural connection and a true sense of home on campus.
