Hi! 

I am a postgraduate student at Massey University, currently completing a Master of Business Studies in Human Resource Management. As an international postgraduate student at Massey and an HR professional with several years of Talent Acquisition experience, I understand some of the unique experiences and challenges that students may face when adapting to a new academic environment and life in New Zealand.

I am applying for the International Student Representative and Postgraduate Student Representative roles because I want to help build a stronger, more connected student community at Massey. In particular, I hope to support international and postgraduate students not only in their academic journey, but also in discovering volunteering, networking, career and employment opportunities in New Zealand.

If elected, I want to help create a student community where we actively open doors for one another. I hope to connect students with each other, relevant university resources and the wider New Zealand community, while helping international and postgraduate students become more confident, connected and better prepared for life and work after graduation.

My goal is simple: no student should feel that they have to navigate study, work and life in New Zealand alone. I want students to leave Massey not only with a qualification, but also with a strong network, meaningful experiences, and the confidence and connections to take their next step in New Zealand.
