Hi! 

I am Meng Xu, a Master of Agribusiness student at Massey University. I am eager to serve as a Student Representative for Te Tira Ahu Pae. As an international student, I have first‑hand experience of the practical challenges and diverse needs students face with coursework, campus support and daily study‑life adaptation. I am a good listener and comfortable gathering feedback via informal discussions, surveys and peer conversations to faithfully amplify cohort perspectives.y

If elected, I will act as a constructive bridge between students and the university. I aim to collect genuine student opinions, concerns and suggestions around course design, teaching arrangements and campus services. I will work to ensure student voices, real‑life experiences and questions are brought into Massey’s decision‑making processes across different levels, from course development to service delivery. My goal is to help more students feel heard and contribute to a better overall student experience for peers from all backgrounds.
