Kia ora!

My name is Abirami, and I'm currently studying a Master of Professional Accountancy at Massey University, Auckland campus. Before moving to New Zealand, I worked for three years as an Audit and Tax Assistant in Chennai, India, so I already know what it's like to work hard, stay organised, and communicate clearly with different people.

I'm applying to be your Student Rep and International Student Rep because I want to be a voice for students, especially international students like myself who are still finding their feet in a new country. I understand the challenges of settling into study, work, and daily life here, and I'd love to help make that journey easier for others.

If elected, I hope to improve communication between students and the university, support more events that bring domestic and international students together, and make sure every student feels heard and included on campus.
