Kia ora!

My name is Dileep Gopalakrishnan, and I am currently studying for a Master of Design at the Wellington campus. Before joining Massey, I studied electrical engineering and later cognitive science, and I am now exploring design at the intersection of technology, psychology, and human experience. I am standing as a student representative because I believe I can contribute to both the student community and the university.

As a student representative, I want to listen to students, understand their concerns, ideas, and experiences, and communicate their views clearly to the university. At the same time, I want to ensure that important information from the university reaches students in a clear and accessible way.
I would also like to contribute to making campus life more engaging and connected.

I believe that fostering a strong campus community through opportunities for students to meet, share ideas, and engage across disciplines will enhance the student experience. What I bring is a multidisciplinary background, experience working with people from different fields, and a genuine interest in listening, connecting people, and turning ideas into action.
